Tree by Living Waters — Moss Art Sculpture
Inspired by Psalm 1
Tree by Living Waters is a one-of-a-kind sculptural artwork that emerged through transformation. Originally formed as a functional vessel, the piece fractured during demolding—revealing a new direction. Rather than discard it, the break was intentionally expanded and reimagined into a living-landscape sculpture.
The base is hand-formed from my custom-blended cellulose-cement composite, then painted and sealed for durability. Within the vessel, preserved moss, river stones, driftwood, and hand-crafted composite elements are carefully composed to create a symbolic scene rooted in Scripture.
This piece represents the Tree planted by streams of water—a visual meditation on resilience, growth, and spiritual grounding.
